With 20+ years of experience assessing and treating offenders, the staff of F & P Associates provide a full range of clinical & forensic services, covering all facets of the assessment & treatment of sexually coercive & aggressive children, juveniles, men and women.

Timothy P.Foley, Ph.D.
Dr. Foley has worked with forensic populations ranging from drug and alcohol abusers to sexual offenders for the past 25 years. He is the former Director of Clinical and Forensic Services for the Joseph J. Peters Institute in Philadelphia. He has conducted or supervised approximately 2,000 forensic evaluations of sexual offenders and victims of sexual abuse. Dr. Foley frequently provides expert testimony in local and Federal courts in cases ranging from child custody and internet pornography to registration ("Megan's Law) and SVP hearings. He has developed a particular expertise in the area of cyberpornography and recently published a book chapter on internet child pornography offenders.

Robert A. Prentky, Ph.D.
Dr. Prentky has been a practicing forensic psychologist for the past 20+ years. He is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association, nominated by the forensic division. He has assessed or supervised the assessment of over 1,000 male and female sex offenders in about 35 U.S. prisons and has provided expert testimony several hundred times. He has presented 200+ papers and invited lectures throughout the world and has published over 60 professional articles and 5 books. Current areas of training interest have focused on risk assessment with juveniles and pre-adolescents. Areas of forensic expertise include homicide cases, assessments of risk with adult male and female offenders, and third party liability cases.

Martin P. Kafka, M.D.
Dr. Kafka is Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, a Senior Attending Psychiatrist at McLean Hospital in Belmont, MA, and the current president of the Massachusetts Chapter of the Association for Treatment of Sexual Abusers. He has been studying and treating sexual offenders for the past 14 years, and is nationally known for his expertise in novel psychopharmacological approaches to treating paraphilics and highly compulsive, nonparaphilic sexual addicts. Dr. Kafka has numerous publications on etiology, co-morbidity, ADHD, drug trials, and many other subjects. In addition, he lectures nationally and internationally.

Barbara K. Schwartz, Ph.D.
Dr. Schwartz has specialized in the evaluation and treatment of adult and juvenile sex offenders for the past 30 years. Over the past 3 decades, she has directed five statewide sex offender programs for Departments of Corrections and has served as a special consultant to thirty other states. She has served as a trainer for the National Academy of Corrections and has authored or edited six major books in the field. She is former Clinical Director of the Massachusetts Treatment Center, served as clinical consultant to three juvenile sex offender programs and is currently the President of Public Safety Concepts. Dr. Schwartz writes prolifically and consults regularly on individual cases and program issues throughout the U.S. and abroad.
